and lot's of things might happen. see the thing about writer's is that they are quite unpredictable. one day, they can bring you breakfast in bed and the next, ignore you completely for a few days. bring you breakfast at 3 in the morning or wake you up at 4 in the morning to make love. or make love to you at 4 in the afternoon. or spend the last of the rent money on five kinds of soap. or sell your textbooks for cash midway through the semester. hold your hand while at the movie theaters or shy away when you're together at the mall. It's an unpredictable life.
But, if you ever get a writer to fall in love with you...
well, that part is more predictable. you will find your favorite moon ring around the finger of someone at the bus stop of a short story. or mysteriously, your favorite shoes will disappear and show up in a poem. the necklace you always wear, the necklace you have but never worn, the fact that you've never worn a necklace ; they suddenly belong to characters you've never known. and yet, they're you. they're not you; but someone else completely, but they toss their hair like you. they scratch their nose when they lie like you or wrinkle it when they're angry. they even smell like you and laugh like you. sometimes they will be the protagonists; sometimes narrators, sometimes villains, sometimes nobody...like an innocent bystander. this might amuse you, at first. or even confuse you. bewilder you even when books turn into a mirror. you might try to see yourself the way your beloved writer sees you when you read a poem about someone who has your middle name. these poems and short stories and novels, all scattered in the wind... leaving you to wonder if you've read them before or if you're living it now or if it's your past or your future. and honestly, you will never really know. there's no way to erase it. even when you're long gone, a part of you though, big or small is left behind.
if a writer falls in love with you, you can never die.
