adventuuure day

So I woke up super late today. *facepalm* And ultimately had no ride to work. So being the smart person that I am, I decided to take the bus. Keep in mind that, I've never rode the local bus a day in my life. :-P Not knowing where I was going, I ended up getting lost somewhere downtown. Lol. Well not really downtown, more like, close to there? I really suck at address's. Anyway, I saw loads people walking to this park I use to go to as a kid and so I decided to check it out. BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! (I hope my boss doesn't read this /:) Some hippie/earth day/display your junk day festival was taking place. Omg. It was SUPER awesome. Briefly, met some city kids (as in 20 something year olds such as myself), got well aquainted and such. Checked out alot of good ass art. I mean, breath takingly you should be owning a gallery kind of artists were there. Fell in love with this one piece, a painting of the sun infused with all sorts of colors... UGH, so lovely. But I didn't have enough money to buy it, so I could only drool over it. Lol. They had a live band as well, people were dancing all weird-like and wore hippie clothes. I'm pretty sure 90% of them weren't wearing shoes. Face paintings, fortune telling, gypsies. I've never seen so many interesting people in Utah before either. So it was kinda weird for me, though I didn't feel out of place. Just goes to show, I need more accidental adventures. ;) All in all, it was a pretty chill day. Most def going to the next festival. And of course, bring my girls along(:
