conversation with a stranger

he was a bit over twice my age and gave me some advice on life and love. he told me something like this:
don’t be scared to fall in love- take risks. its okay to be in relationships with people. sometimes it won’t be forever but don’t push people away if they try to show you affection. appreciate it and appreciate them because one day they’ll be gone.
don’t feel bad about or look down on your mistakes, think of them as ways to grow. experiment and experience things. you’re only young once and those things will make you wiser.
he told me that even though sometimes life gets rough, it’s always worth it if you work hard and try to become the best version of yourself.
